Highly Recommended! A to Z's equipment made our Longboat Key condo a home-away-from-home. That's very important when travelling with a 2 year old - if the toddler is happy, everyone has a good time!! When my 4 year old twin grandchildren came to visit us this year, we had it all under control. As usual, I called Jay at

A to Z Baby Rentals and had him send over some sleeping accomodations (toddler bed for one and bed rails for the other

to sleep on a convertible couch). But the items they enjoyed most were the two tricycles (which they now expect) and a play kitchen that lights up and makes sounds. We travel to Florida every winter to visit family and friends all over the state. The last 3 years we have done so with our son. Each year since he was born, we have rented from A to Z. Each year they have been exceptional with their service. They have always maintained a level of professionalism that I appreciate yet are very easy going which makes dealing with them a breeze. [It doesn’t hurt that Jay has a great quirky sense of humor].

Their products have always been top notch, clean, well maintained, and in great condition. [That is a real selling point for me because as a parent, I worry about safety and cleanliness with my child as do all parents.] Ordering on-line and email/phone correspondence has been prompt, hassle-free and easy - as is their delivery/pick-ups.

Two years ago our regular vacation was pre-empted by an emergency where a family member was suddenly hospitalized. A to Z was able to set up rental for us VERY last second and set everything up without a hitch. We were in a life and death situation where our family member was day to day in recovery and we had no idea how long we were going to need to stay. For that reason I had no idea how long I would need to rent the equipment. Jay and company were very understanding, and accommodating and helped make a VERY stressful situation a little less so. That combined with their well wishes was appreciated beyond words!

I intend to rent from them every year for as long as my little guy is little. I know he is outgrowing some of the baby items but they also offer quite a selection of toddler equipment as well as beach and bike gear which is great too [some baby rental places just focus on baby, A to Z focuses on family too!]

I am not a person who normally writes reviews but often people are too quick to write up complaints but never take the time to give a word of praise for a job well done. Well, I’m taking the time because A to Z deserves the shout out to people in the Sarasota/Bradenton/Venice area looking to rent. You won’t find a better place. Thanks again Jay. See you next year!

Just got back from a week at Lido beach. I had called a couple of days before the trip and rented from A to Z beach chairs, umbrella's and a beach cart. They were very friendly and was able to take care of all my rental needs at very reasonable prices. When I got to my timeshare, there in the room was everything I needed. What a life saver, when traveling with a baby you can't possibly take everything you need. Jay made sure everything was delivered prior to our daughters flight arrival, since we needed a car seat to pick them up. Rented a bike trailer for our little kid. She enjoyed cruising the trails in the Venice FL area. We enjoyed being able to get outside like that with her. A to Z was our last resort for bike rentals over Christmas break. They were the third place we called on Siesta Key. The first two places pretty much said, "We're out." Jay said they were out as well, but to give him 15 min. and he would do some checking for us. He explained that most people reserve in advance and how the process worked. No one else took the time to explain or to go the extra mile. We called Jay back in 15 min. and he ended up finding us 5 bikes! We would definitely recommend them - they are just a short walk over the bridge from Siesta Beach. Bikes were very clean and in good repair. Price was right, too! Only $50 for 5 bikes for 24 hours. We enjoyed them and took several rides on the island. We will definitely rent from A to Z again if we return to the area. Highly recommend them!

We traveled from Pittsburgh to Siesta Key (by plane) and were unable to bring many of the beach items that we usually lug in our vehicle, not too mention I have a 2 year old in the middle of being potty trained :) but thanks to A to Z our vacation was made hassle-free. We rented a potty chair, booster seat, and spring float for the little one, and a beach cart on wheels that came with a cooler (on wheels) a 7ft beach umbrella, a 7ft beach blanket, a huge bag of sand toys, and 2 very nice sand chairs (that had cup holders and pillow head rests). John & I actually went in to the store and what a treat. Not only could we see first-hand the options available, but were greeted and treated by a gentleman's humour, advice, and exellent service. We rented two of the children's blow up beds for our visiting grandchildren. They were plenty big for comfort but not too big for the room, were safe, never lost air the whole week, and the fitted blanket added extra comfort. The big advantage also was that we could just stop by & pick them up and drop them off at our convenience, and not have to wait around for delivery. More time at the beach! Jay showed up at our condo exactly when he said he would and set up the equipment for us. Our flight into Florida was late and we were all tired by the time we got to the condo so it was a huge relief to see the crib all setup and the stroller waiting for the morning walk. What a great service! Inexpensive, clean, and convenient. When we visit my parents, we don't have to worry about lugging extra items for our toddler or setting anything up, and they don't have to worry about storing things between visits.
